Specific Auction Terms – BidConnect Commercial Vehicle Auction

Public Online Auction

The auction organized by BidConnect B.V. is a combined public and online auction with the possibility to view lots beforehand. This means that the Distance Selling Act does not apply. A bid placed is binding and cannot be withdrawn or modified. All lots have a minimum price unless otherwise stated on the lot page.

Bidding Obligations

By placing a bid in this auction, you enter into a payment and collection obligation. In the event of an erroneous bid, you must report this immediately to increase the chance of finding a mutually acceptable solution. In some cases, an appropriate solution can be arranged; in that case, the bidder will owe BidConnect B.V. an amount of €250 excluding VAT. Bids remain valid until the end of the 3rd working day at 17:00 after your bid was placed on the first working day.

Payment and Collection

Payment must be made prior to collection via bank transfer within 1 working day after allocation for buyers in the Netherlands. Foreign buyers have 3 working days to complete payment. You can pay easily via iDeal in your BidConnect Dashboard or via the invoice. Cash payments or PIN payments are not possible. After the lot has been allocated, you will receive an email with all collection information from the seller.

Registration Codes

BidConnect will send any vehicle registration codes by email after payment has been received. Registered vehicles will only be handed over upon receipt of the deregistration certificate. When you or your transporter collects the lot, you will sign to confirm proper receipt. By doing so, you declare that you have received the lot correctly and in full.

Special Notes & BPM

During and after the auction, we may contact active bidders by phone or in writing to verify bids and conduct negotiations. We do this to protect bidders and the bidding process. Therefore, it is important that you remain reachable as a bidder during the auction.
BidConnect states the gross BPM and residual BPM amounts as listed on finnik.nl. BidConnect is not liable for the accuracy of this information, and no rights can be derived from it. For example, if the vehicle is an import with unusually high gross BPM or appears to have been used as a taxi, we recommend you contact the Tax Information Line at 0800-0749 (free of charge).

Claims

To inform you as thoroughly as possible about the condition of the vehicles, we provide, in addition to our extensive photography, where inspection allows, two videos: a cold start and a view of the dashboard during start-up, including any warnings. There is also the possibility to inspect vehicles beforehand, and all available information is shared as transparently as possible. Because this is a public auction and you as the bidder have the opportunity to assess the vehicles in advance, complaints or claims after purchase are not accepted. We strongly advise you to carefully review all information and images before placing a bid.

Transport

BidConnect can arrange transport within the Netherlands for the vehicles you purchased. Please refer to the scale below as the price list:

• 0–1499 kg – €150

• 1500–2000 kg – €160

• 2001–9999 kg – €175

• Small van – €185

• Large van – €265

Private Buyers

This BidConnect B2B Car Auction is intended for professional automotive buyers. Private and non-automotive buyers are also allowed to bid and purchase but must pay a non-automotive surcharge of €200 per vehicle purchased.

Supervision

BidConnect is not the seller but acts as an intermediary auctioneer on behalf of a third party. The auction is supervised by Notary Mr. J.A. Zomer or their deputy, affiliated with Het Notarieel Notarissen B.V., located at Enschedesestraat 47 in Hengelo.

General Terms and Conditions

By bidding on the BidConnect platform, you agree to the General Terms and Conditions and these Specific Auction Terms, which prevail in Dutch in the event of any conflict.
